Mobile Application Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your use of a software application (“Application”) on a mobile device that was created by CodingMerc LLC.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information – The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register/login in the Application. Registration may be optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use some or all of the features offered by the Application unless you register/login.

When you register/login and use the Application, you generally provide identification specific account information like a user name.

Automatically Collected Information – In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, such as data necessary for automated user identification, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, and information about the way you use the Application. See “Automatic Data Collection and Advertising” section for examples.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

Applications do not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device unless it is required for specific application functionality but never without user consent. You may at any time opt-out from further accessing your location data by using your mobile device settings dialog. For more information, please see the section below entitled “opt-out rights.”

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Usually not. However Information is shared with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
User Provided and Automatically Collected Information may be disclosed:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process
• when in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, protect safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a
  government request
• with trusted services providers
• if CodingMerc LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a
  portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on the web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information

Automatic Data Collection and Advertising

Only if an Application is supported via advertising, it collects data to help the Application serve ads. An analytics company might be involved to help understand how the Application is being used, such as the frequency and duration of usage. Advertisers and third party advertising networks, might need to know how you interact with advertising provided in the Application which helps to keep the cost of the Application low or free. Advertisers and advertising networks use some of the information collected by the Application. This may include the unique identification ID of your mobile device. These third parties may also obtain information about other applications you’ve downloaded to your mobile device in order to help analyze and serve anonymous targeted advertising on the Application and elsewhere. If you’d like to opt-out from third party use of this type of information to help serve targeted advertising, please visit the section entitled “Opt-out” below.

What are my opt-out rights?

Opt-out of all information collection by uninstalling the Application – You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

User Provided data will be retained for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you’d like to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly and may be required to be retained by law.

Security

Physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards are provided to protect information we process and maintain. Access to this information is limited to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve an Application. Please be aware that no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. You will be notified of any changes to this Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on this very site. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.

Your Consent

By using the Services, you are consenting to the processing of User Provided and Automatically Collection information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. “Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States. If you reside outside the U.S. your information will be transferred to the U.S., and processed and stored there under U.S. privacy standards. By using the Application and providing information, you consent to such transfer to, and processing in, the US.
